My story
My spiritual journey began with the Atlantic Ocean as my teacher. Swimming, diving, and surfing taught me respect, awe, reverence, and humility for the natural world. I became disillusioned with religion as a teenager and turned to mysticism and philosophy. Although I studied this in college, I was unable to find what I needed.
In my twenties I learned carpentry, woodworking, and apprenticed as a bass guitar builder under master luthier Michael Tobias. During this time I began realizing the sensitivity I had in my hands. After moving to New Mexico I met the person who was to become a teacher, mentor, and friend. She helped me find deeper understandings of myself, my connection to the universe, and inspired me to do the same for others. I spent 18 years at the Ayurvedic Institute honing my talents as a body worker and energy practitioner, and absorbing it’s wisdom. With all the work that I’ve learned and continue to develop, I am excited to share healing energy and understanding with everyone that I can.
I now offer not only healing and personal coaching sessions, but custom woodworking services as well. I have found this to be a healthy and fulfilling balance for me as it expresses a broader range of my creative abilities.
I look forward to hearing from you. Michael.
